Currently, the emerging life for me is about claiming my writing and allowing that voice to speak. Joseph Campbell said that to complete the Hero's Journey we must: Enter the dark wood, Face whatever is presented, and then Return and tell the tale. We have all been thrust into the dark wood and are stacking up experiences, knowledge and meeting new challenges daily. Now the task becomes finding a way to come back to our earthly clan and sing the songs of those external and internal journeys and visions. These days, what that looks like for me is catching the words and bringing them to paper.

I have five books in print and feel as though I have just begun. I believe we all have a stream, creek, or estuary waiting to float us downstream, to the big waters, where we merge our lives with the collective of shared humanity. How we tell the tale will look different for each of us. What we seek is to let the river bathe us in our vision and authentically bring us home.
